A time to be born...

Brenda Lee Capers was born March 13, 1960 to the late Aaron and Mozella Capers, Sr. in Anguilla, MS.  On September 1, 1969, the family relocated to Greenville, MS, where Brenda spent most of her childhood.

A time to live....

Brenda confessed a hope in Christ at an early age at Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church in Greenville, MS.  She attended North Sharkey Elementary School, Anguilla, MS; Armstrong Elementary School, E.E. Bass School, T.L. Weston 10th Grade School, and graduated from Greenville High School-Class of 1978, in Greenville, MS.  She received an accounting degree from Draughon Business College, Greenville, MS.  She later moved to Seattle Washington.  Brenda relocated to Champaign, IL in 1981 where she met and married her sweetheart, Earl Lee Johnson on July 3, 1986.  To this union was born one son, Gregory Lee Johnson, who was her pride and joy and the more reason for her years of laughter.  Brenda worked in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and as a Payroll Administrator throughout most of her professional career.
