Mother Bonnie Hunt Johnson was born January 6, 2012 in Deeson, Mississippi to the late Beatrice Mason and Grover Ballard. She accepted Christ as her personal Savior at an early age. She joined New Bethel M.B. Church in Perthshire, Mississippi under the leadership of Pastor Bronner. She later joined Mt. Hebron Baptist Church where she remained a faithful member until her health failed. On June 5, 1971, she was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Isaac Johnson. There were three children born of this union, Sheilia, Brenda and Mary.
