Obituary

Deacon Bobby L. Williams:  Was born January 15, 1956, to Larry L. Williams, Sr. and Everleen Williams in Bolivar County.  He was preceded in death by two of his siblings:  Melvin and Ardell Williams and his parents.  He lived a life dedicated to hard work, family, and his community.

Bobby was known for his deep faith and love for others.  At the age of 6, he confessed his life to Christ, a decision that shaped his life and guided him through every challenge and triumph.  Bobby attended West Bolivar School, but his thirst for knowledge and strong work ethic were evident throughout his life.

Bobby spent over 30 years working at Ampco, where he was known for his dedication, work ethic, and the pride he took in his job.  As a loyal employee, he made a lasting impact on his coworkers and the company.  His commitment and dependability were qualities that earned him the respect and admiration of all who worked alongside him.

Outside of work, Bobby was a carpenter.  He enjoyed fixing and building things and was always there to lend a helping hand to those in need.  His warm smile, generosity, and sense of humor will be greatly missed by those who had the privilege of knowing him.  He could build anything from scratch.  He was truly a family man, and he loved to spend time with his biological family as well as his church family.  If you want to look for him, you wouldn't have to look far, just go to the church.  There you would find him hanging doors, painting walls, putting down carpet and laying floor tile.

He leaves to cherish his memories of his loving and devoted wife, Georgia Williams and their children: Sons, Alexander(Yolande) Noodel and Patrick Williams, St. Louis, MO; Daughters, Jacqueline (Eric) Mell, Rosedale, MS, Dr. Tina (Tracey) Chaney, St. Louis, MO; Brothers, David (Daisy) Williams, Rosedale, MS, Larry (Mary) Williams, Jr., Cleveland, MS; Sisters; Carolyn Williams and Ruby (Don) Hedgewood, Rosedale, MS, Minister Vorris (Delores) Williams, Fort Smith, Ark., Pastor Marvin (Felicia) Strotter, Sr., Renova, MS; 4 Brothers -In-Laws, Rev.
