Bobby Lee Cannon was born to the late Mr. Willie Cannon, Sr., and Mrs. Archie Mae Cannon.  He grew up in Greenville and attended Greenville Public Schools and was a 1977 graduate of Greenville High School.  Soon after graduating, Bobby met the love of his life, Della Virgues.  They were married and have been together over forty-four years.

Bobby confessed a hope in Christ at an early age and has served in church as well as in his community.  He became a member of Agape Storge Christian Center under the leadership of Dr. Thomas Paul Williams where he remained a member until his departure.

Bobby's career paths included positions of management in several local restaurants such as Captain D's and Kentucky Fried Chicken where he received awards for his Outstanding Quality Service and Cleanliness.  He also pursued a career path in Insurance and was known as the "Guru Agent" in Insurance Sales with numerous awards and accolades including the Best of the Best Leading Sales Manager, President's Council Award, and the Career Builder's Award.  He also worked at FedEx for a period of time.  One of his greatest accomplishments was working alongside his wife, Della in the catering business.  Cannon's Catering is known for its excellent service and fine dining experience.  Cannon's Catering has also received awards and recognition for their impeccable service.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Cannon Sr., and Archie Mae Cannon; three (3) brothers, Windlon Jackson, Larry Jackson, and Kendrick Keon Cannon; three (3) sisters, Concille Rose Jackson, Gail Rena Cannon, and Earnestine Cannon.  He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Della Cannon; (1) brother, Willie Cannon, Jr., of Greenville, MS; (1) sister, Quasheba (Kendall) McFarland of Memphis, TN; (2) daughters, Naketa Cannon Thomas and Erica (Darron) Amos, of Greenville, MS; (2) sons, Bobby Cannon, Jr., Darrion Mason, of Greenville, MS; a god-daughter, Kearra Jones Rodgers; (9) grandchildren and a host of loving family members and friends.
