Billy Gene Lawrence was born December 13, 1950 in Greenville, MS to the late Finley and Catherine Lawrence.  He confessed a hope in Christ at an early age.

Billy had a wonderful sense of humor that will never be forgotten by all of those who knew and loved him.  He attended Greenville Public Schools and he went on to be a cook for many, many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents Finley and Catherine Lawrence, four sisters:  Mary Lee Perkins, Ophelia, Rosie Mae and Bobbie Jean Lawrence.

Billy leaves to cherish his memory three sisters:  Priscilla Lawrence of Greenville, MS, Annie (Oscar) Howard of Bolivar, MS and Dorothy Walton of Metcalf, MS; four brothers:  Finley (Renee) Lawrence of Chicago, IL, Tommie Lawrence of St. Louis, MO, Freddie Lawrence and Ronnie (Applice) Lawrence of Greenville, MS; one special aunt, Mrs. Rosie Mae Brown of Greenville, MS, a very special niece, Ms. Almira Lawrence, a devoted nephew, Mr. Larry Hall of Bolivar, MS and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
