Bernard Wesley, Jr., was born August 4, 1950, in Cleveland, Mississippi to the late Bernard Sr. and Ruthie Mae Wesley.

Bernard accepted Christ at an early age at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Renova, Mississippi.

Bernard attended East Side High School.  He was a true Trojan fan and loved the Dallas Cowboys.  He worked for D & L and Mallette Furniture Companies in Cleveland, Mississippi.  He also attended Tender Loving Care Adult Day in Cleveland, Mississippi.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard Sr. and Ruthie Mae Wesley, and one brother, Johnny W. Thomas.

Bernard leaves to mourn his passing a son, Bernard C. Wesley (Lesa); three sisters, Juanita W. Green and Betty J. Wesley, both of Renova, and Johnnie R. Gage of Olive Branch; one brother, Larry P. Wesley of Renova; and two grandchildren, Jatirah and Erica Franklin from Jackson, Mississippi.  He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, and a special friend, Ms. Jessie Harris.
