Barbara Ann Belton was born September 10, 1959 to Joseph and Irene Belton Jr.  She confessed Christ at an early age and was a faithful member of Union Grove M.B. Church.  The family moved to Hollandale, MS and became a member of The New Bethel M.B. Church.  She was also an alumnus of Glen Allan High School Class of "1978".

Barbara departed this life on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at Dallas Regional Center in Dallas, Texas.  Her sweet spirit will deeply be missed by all who had the privilege of having known her.  She was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Belton III; paternal parents, Joseph and Irene Belton Jr.; stepmother, Dorothy McCollough; maternal grandparents, James and Martha Gibbs; and paternal grandparents, K.C. and Marie Buchanan.

She leaves to cherish her sweet memories to a loving friend, Woodrow Boyd; three handsome sons - Milton Belton and Bradford Belton of Hollandale, MS, and Derrick Belton of Houston, TX; four beautiful daughters - Erinesa (Maurice) Belton, Jessica Belton and Dorothy (Felicia) Belton of Dallas, TX, and Candice Jones of Hollandale, MS; three stepdaughters-Alicia Jackson, Latoyia Jackson & Latoshia Jackson all of Lufkin, TX; one stepson; Kelton Henry of Tyler, TX.  She also leaves behind seven brothers- Mitchell (Carolyn) Belton, Glen Allan, MS, James Belton, Dallas, TX, Robert McCollough & Mitchell (Bieshia) McCollough, Greenville, MS, Lewis (Erma) McCollough, Southaven, MS, Pastor Paul McCollough of Greenville, MS and Larry McCollough of Lufkin, TX; (3) sisters- LaShaun McCollough, Greenville, MS, Shirley McCollough of Glen Allan, MS and Dianne McCollough-Murphy of Lufkin, TX; (19) loving grandchildren, (4) great grandchildren; along with a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
