Augustine Butler Williams was born on August 22, 1932 in Sibley, MS to Abraham and Amanda Butler. She was the youngest of three children. She was educated in Leland, MS and received her diploma from Breisch High School in 1952.

Her relationship with her Savior, Jesus Christ, was evident, and she loved life, her family, and serving people.

Augustine leaves five children to cherish her memory: Wanda (Larry) Benford, Robert (Rebecca) Butler, Jerry (Cleo) Butler, Perry Butler, and Audrey (Michael) Carter. She had 21 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.

She met and married Jessie Williams of Hollandale, MS on July 2, 1977. From this union, she gained 14 stepchildren, 38 step-grands and 36 step-great-grandchildren.

She was a faithful member of the New Foundation MB Church in Hollandale, MS. She loved her pastor and church family.
