Augusta Wade Wallace transitioned on May 13, 2022. he was surrounded and supported by his loving family during his final days of his life. Augusta was born in Arcola, MS on June 24, 1961.

He was baptized and accepted Christ at King Solomon M.B. Church (Arcola, MS), a faithful member of Vessels of Mercy Ministries (Greenville), Lodge 67 Saint John (Arcola), Brown Hunting Club, and President of Crossroad Riders, Former President of Mississippi Delta Riders, Former Chief of Arcola Volunteer Fire Department. He was one of few who completed the academy, so citizens of Arcola could obtain fire insurance. He worked in the upholstery department where furniture was inspected by Laura Bryant at La-Z-Boy (Leland). Mr. Wallace continued working at the plant until his retirement.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Ethel Lee Wallace, his father, Arthur Wade, Sr., his mother, Derotha Wallace, his siblings: Sullivan Wallace, LeeDell Wilson, Louise Wade Powell, and Robert Johnson.

Augusta Wade Wallace is survived by (1) child: Aurtiska (Ozell, Jr.) Pace, (1) grandchild: Kaylee Hoskins, (4) bonus children: Margaret (Willie, Jr.) Chase, Cossandra Halums, Gentrice (Sedward) Posey, Roy (Debra) Halums, and (2) godchildren: Danielle (Joseph) Roberson and Erica "Shay" (Dee) Brown, and (2) special nephews: Benjamin Thompson, Sr., and Michael Thompson; (2) sisters: Mattie Mae Thompson (Mother Figure) & Arene Wade, (7) brothers: Larry (Carolyn) Wallace, Isaac (Cassandra) Wallace, Arthur Wade, Jr., Willie Wade, Jerry Wade, Clinton Wade, Roosevelt Wade, (1) hunting son: Jonte Montgomery, a special friend, Susie "Sue" Moten (Caretaker), and a host of bonus grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
