Obituary

On March 7, 1948, god in His infinite blessed the late Boss Foster, Jr, and Ozzie Brown Foster with a beautiful baby girl, Aslean Foster. Aslean was the third of seven children. She was employed at Ruleville Manufacturing for 38 years until she retired.

She confessed a hope in Crist at an early age at St. Mary M.B. Church. As her faith grew, she developed a deeper knowledge of Christ through many prayers and studying of His Word. She later moved her membership to New Zion M.B. Church under the leadership of Dr. Joe C. Smith. She was a dedicated and faithful member until the church location was moved to Drew, MS. Although she served in many capacities, her main roles was secretary and program coordinator.

On April 15, 1966, Aslean married the Love of Her Life, Rev. Jessie C. Johnson, Jr. Their union was blessed with two beautiful daughters. Proceeding her in death are: both parents: Boss Foster Jr., and Ozie Brown Foster, her husband, Rev. Jessie C. Johnson, Jr. and three brothers: Maurice Foster, Eddie Foster, and William Brown.

She leaves to cherish her memories and continue her legacy two daughters: Jessie Tyler (Frankie L. Ogburn), and Margaret Johnson both of Ruleville, MS, three grandchildrenL Jalishia Tyler (Ge'Rell James), Olandrea Morton and Jessikah Morton of Ruleville, MS, one brother: Larry Foster (Ella Mae), two sisters: Rosie Shaw and Ella Hollins all of Ruleville, MS and Claudine McCain of Greenwood, MS, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
