Annie Bell Griffin Jackson was born March 16, 1933 to Webb and Sarah Griffin in Malvina, MS. She attended public school in Rosedale, MS. She married Thomas Lee Jackson in 1948 in Rosedale, MS.

She accepted Christ at an early age at the Macedonia M.B. Church in Boyle, MS under the leadership of Rev. Fellison. There she served as an usher for many years. She later moved her membership to St. Peter M.B. Church in Merigold, MS, where she remained until she was called home February 15, 2021.

Annie Bell departed this life February 15, 2021 in Boyle, Mississippi at her home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Webb and Sarah Griffin, her husband Thomas Lee Jackson, a daughter, Gracie Mae Johnson, a son Randy Lee Jackson, two grandsons, Larry Jackson and Pap Jenkins, a sister, Dora JAckson, two brothers JC and Wesley Griffin and a daughter in law, Ora Thompson.

Mama leaves to cherish her memories 6 daughters: Deloris Jenkins of Detroit, MI, Hattie (Bruce) Manjang of Ecorse, MI, Linda Kendrick of Memphis, TN, Brenda (Melvin) Flakes of Boyle, MS, Tara (Derrick) Sims of Choctaw, MS and Stephanie (Tony) Davis of Boyle, MS; 3 sons: Buddy (Ella) Jackson and Robert (Pearlie) Jackson of Boyle, MS and Pastor Willie (Lula) Jackson, of Indianola, MS; one god-daughter Alberta Williams of Boyle, MS a god-son Otis (Senia) Robinson of Detroit, MI; 3 sisters: Delialah Williams of St. Louis, MO, Earleen Tucker and Charlene Dillard of Rosedale; a brother Willie Lee Griffin of Chicago, IL; 3 grandsons she raised Charles Jackson of Detroit, MI, Markevious Jackson and Randy Lee Jackson of Boyle, MS; 43 grandchildren, 106 great grandchildren, and 47 great-great grandchildren.
