Obituary

Annie Mae Bell Douglas was born on June 4, 1949 to the late George Bell, Sr. and the late Essie Mae Bell.

Annie professed hope in Christ at an early age at Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Alex Fortney.

Annie attended Broad Street High School.  Shortly after school she moved to Chicago, IL where she resided for many years.  Upon returning back home to Shelby, the place where she loved so dearly.

She was employed at Duo-Fast, Cleveland, MS; Shelby Federal Compress, Shelby Nursing and Rehab, and David Dinner all of Shelby, MS.  She was an unselfish person who would help anyone in need and had a heart of gold.
