Alvin "Maine" Daniels, Sr., was born on February 21, 1961 to the late Maggie and Cleophus Daniels, Sr.  He departed from this life on April 29, 2024.

He accepted Jesus Christ at an early age under the Leadership of Pastor Larry King at New Saint Phillip of Cleveland, Mississippi.  He later on joined Azion Missionary Baptist Church in Mound Bayou, Mississippi, where he was a member and deacon of the church for thirty years.

Alvin received his education at East Side High School, where he played football.  Alvin started his employment at Miller Highlite at the age of 18. He worked and retired after 38 years.

At an early age, Alvin learned and enjoyed talking on the Walkie Talkies and CBs.  His known names were "Headhunter". "Southman 455", and as the family and friend call him, "Maine".  Talking on the CB, "worldwide", as he would say when you ask him how far he can talk.

Alvin was preceded in death by his mother and father, Maggie and Cleophus Daniels, Sr.; and brothers, Charles and Soloman Anderson, Glenn Daniels, Sr., Larry Daniels, Sr., Clinton Daniels and James.

Alvin memories will forever be cherished by:  his loving wife of 43 years, Teresa Daniels; four children, Latoya Daniels-Golliday (Toby) of Rowlett, TX, Alvin Daniels, Jr., of Memphis, TN, Cordell D. Daniels (Lashawn) of Cleveland, MS; four brothers, Johnny Daniels of Cleveland, MS, Jerry Fields (Gwen) of Gary, Indiana, Cleophus Daniels, Jr. (Cleveland), and Louis (Sandra) Daniels of Itta Bena, MS; one sister, Verna Logan of Cleveland, MS; ten grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
