Mother Allie Virginia Doyle Williams-Lee was born on December 20, 1932, to the late Allen Doyle and Ida Mae Buchanon Doyle in Carrollton, Mississippi.

She confessed Christ as her personal Savior at an early age at the Moss Spring Baptist Church in Carrollton, Mississippi.  Allie's family lived in the Carrollton area before moving to Greenwood, Mississippi.  She received her formal education at Jones Chapel School in Carrollton, Mississippi, in the Greenwood public school system.

Allie moved to Cleveland, Mississippi, where her mother lived, and she did hair and worked at East Side High School District Cooking.  She also worked for the Bolivar County Headstart Center for many years.

Allie departed this life on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at her daughter's house.  She was preceded in death by her father, Allen Doyle; mother, Ida Mae Buchanon Doyle; sons, Charles Upton Williams, Jr., and Lymon Lee, Jr.; grandson, Roderick Davis; and daughter, Gwendolyn Lee.

Allie leaves to cherish her memories:  her children, Brendolyn Jackson of Illinois, Cassandra (Reginald) Chatman of Cleveland, MS, Roderick Williams of Cleveland, MS, Janice (Charles) Jackson, Yolanda Lee of Cleveland, MS, Carla (Billy) Rayford of Mound Bayou, MS, Cheewautha Lee of Tuscaloosa, AL, Angela Hunter, Jackie Hunter, and Tamara (Kenny) Davis all of Texas; goddaughter, Sherrye Smith of Cleveland, MS, 17 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, 14 great-great grandchildren, 3 nieces, 2 sister-in-laws, Everlean Lusby and Sarah Jean Lee and a host of cousins and friends.
